A poignant drama based on lived experiences of budding artists in Uganda. The story inspire youths in Uganda to use the Arts for social change and development within their communities, while tackling gender based violence, trauma of abusive rape culture and gender inequality in the entertainment business. The Production is a vessel for empowerment of women, girls & youth.

Released January 2020, Mutono's Circulation is a daring tale of unrequited love and the unspoken affections between men. Shot in Mt. Elgon's green escarpments of Sisiyi Falls in Mbale, Uganda, the productions had a British, Ugandan and American crew, including Cinematographer - Isaac Eastgate Steadicam Operator - Evrim Kaya, Assistant Camera - Felix Pickles and Producer / Fixer - Patience Asaba Katushabe. Ngalabi Short Film Festival
Actor at a masterclass for filmmakers, facilitated by London Film School's Femi Kolade & Kenya's Albert Josiah. The 2nd edition had filmmakers from Uganda, Kenya, Rwanda and Tanzania, under patronage of Goethe-Zentrum Kampala/UGCS and Maisha Film Lab. Maisha was founded by celebrated Hollywood Director, Mira Nair (popular for films like Mississipi Masala starring Denzel Washington and Disney's Queen of Katwe starring Lupita Nyong'o & David Oyelowo).

Second Chance as Simon
Truthful, carefree, and a brute with no sieves attacking lies and deception, Simon fights his greatest demons (loathing his father, abandonment and rejection) with youthful spirit. Celebrated across East Africa, the role made for a household name on TV. I also assisted with casting actors and rehearsals on the drama series which is a remake of Telemundo’s El Cuerpo Del Deseo.

Andy, the unfaithful infidel rivaling the local Pastor, Frank, for female flock in Church is a satirical character who exposes the self-righteousness, religious syncretism, hypocrisy and sexual mischief in Uganda's Pentecostal church. Produced by Jephin Filmz and Directed by Nondo Fred, this drama simultaneously showing with Second Chance made me the first actor to feature on two competitor TV station at once.

Life on The Streets
Scripted, Narrated and Edited this social change - human rights and health rights advocacy documentary for the marginalised key populations of female sex workers in Uganda. Nominated Best documentary, Uganda Film Festival (UFF) Awards 2017, the story explores among many other challenges, HIV prevalence and access to health services. Screened AIDS 2016, Johannesburg, ZA.

Created to raise awareness on the ever growing drugs and alcohol abuse among the youth in Uganda, this documentary for which I narrated narrated a few episodes was nominated and won Uganda Film Festival (UFF) award for Best Documentary 2016. Directed by Esther Nihamba, this documentary also inspired a feeature film for which I was Casting Director.

Men of The Night
A human rights advocacy documentary derived at health rights advocacy, addressing discrimination against LGBTs and HIV prevalence among key vulnerable populations. I narrated and edited the trailer and interviewed subjects, members of Men of the Night organisation which advocates for the rights and visibility of Uganda's marginalized male sex workers, for the rest of the feature.

Host at this television talk show where myself as Joe, and co-host Sally Bwamimpeke bantered with friends over drinks at the bar, talking about controversial subjects such as sexual reproductive health, marriage and relationships, sex and sexuality along with trending current social-political and economic affairs across the country. The show, produced by Wizarts aired on national TV at Uganda Broadcasting Corporation (UBC)

Beauty To Ashes as Charlie
A reckless promiscuous teenager, Charlie contracts HIV from Uganda’s sexual network. Produced by Trivision Uganda, directed by Irene Kulabako, the feature film was written by Billy Ashaba and starred celebrated actors like local Patricko Mujuuka and media personality, Ben Mwiine. Utilized as a sensitization tool for sexual reproductive health, the movie toured schools and colleges, engaging youth in effective behavioral change communication.
